This is a great ship. The crew and service are top notch and the price out of Baltimore can't be beat....no flying for me. The itinerary includes Charleston, Cape Canaveral, Nassau and Co Co Cay.This was for the 9 day cruise..12 day cruises are available. This ship turned 21 years old on our march 18th sailing and those years hardly show due to the great maintenance and dedication of the Captain and crew.My travel agent friends tell me you can go on the same ship more that once and have a different experience each time. I have sailed four times on the Grandeur of the Seas and each time was a rewarding experience. The food is always great including the lobster tails. In addition to the daily fare, Chops, (steaks), Giovanni's (Italian ) and Izumi (Asian) provide excellent specialty offerings for additional gastronomic experiences The shows were great, as good as Royal's bigger ships and roomy enough so you don't have to fight the crowd and reserve tickets on line, Because it's smaller than the big ships, there is an intimacy between the guests and crew. The cabin hallways are not 1000 feet long and there are only 11 decks up.Getting around the Grandeur is easy and the Bar service is excellent. This ship can keep up with the best of them and has won cruise line awards for crew excellence several times.Check it out.
