Chose this cruise for the destination ports and expected weather. Spent a couple of nights in Hong Kong before joining the ship and it was much colder there than expected although it did warm up on our last day. Embarkation was excellent with plenty of people to guide us in the correct direction. Not travelled with Celebrity before and the Millennium was a little older than we expected and there was quite a bit of maintenance happening throughout the cruise. We chose the late sitting in the dining room and really enjoyed the company of our fellow cruisers and the waiters and sommelier looked after us well. We were only six on our table and had some great evenings. The food improved as the cruise progressed. Unfortunately we were not able to go to the dining room on the last evening so were not able to say goodbye to our fellow diners and the staff which was a real shame. Would love them to get in touch with us.
Every member of staff seemed to be quite happy to help us at every opportunity. Did enjoy all the destinations but Singapore has to be our favourite.
We were in a balcony cabin which was not very large but adequate with a comfy bed and we were looked after excellently by Rommel. The ports were very interesting but there was a lot of travel from the ship to get to our chosen destinations.
Extremely busy, fantastic bakeries
A really lovely place to see, easy to get about and really worth a visit
