We sailed out of Port Canaveral on the Magic on March 4.In our party we had 7 from Ontario and 2 from Michigan....We are all in our late 50's early 60's and enjoyed the shows in the theatre as well as the bands and DJ's that were there to entertain us... This Western Carribean cruise was what we expected and Carnival did not disappoint us.....From the cruise director Dr E to the rest of the staff we found them to be attentive to our needs and ran a well oiled machine .Our Cabin steward Mohammed on deck 8 who happened to be working his last week on this ship was amazing and he would shine in any luxury hotel around the world...Our balcony cabin was kept clean at all times of day and his service was impeccable. This man should be an Ambassador for Carnival as he greeted us with a smile and a hello at all times of day and night as we left our cabin.The meals in the dining room were good to excellent and with a good variety of choice throughout the 7 day cruise....We happened to be Platinum members so embarkation was the fastest it has ever been and debarkation was also well run ....Needless to say we will be back on Carnival ...

One irritant was down in Ocean Plaza....The Alchemy bar staff would lock the sliding doors to the deck outside claiming the wind was affecting the passengers...This was not the case at all since they locked the door even when there was no wind out there.....By doing this they irritated the people that smoke in the smoking area just down from Ocean Plaza...
