We chose this cruise because of the great experience we had on a Viking River Cruise and because we wanted to go on a New Years Cruise. It far exceeded our expectations. The ship was beautiful and the staff went out of their way to ensure you enjoyed every part of the cruise. The dining experience was the best on any cruise we have been on and we cruise a lot. For example, last year we went on 5 cruises of 7 days or longer. Your wine glass was never empty. We enjoyed the smaller ship and getting to know many of our fellow passengers. The entertainment was great. The cabin was the best cabin we have ever had. We loved the King size bed and it had the largest bathroom we have had on any ship. We look forward to sailing again on another Viking Ocean Cruise soon. The shore excursions were well planned and went smoothly. However, we visited some very small islands and there was not a lot to be offered on a couple of the excursions.
