We've been on Princess cruises for years. My only complaint is that they continue to reduce the size of the dining room staff. The staff works very hard but there are simply too few hands so every meal takes an hour and a half. The ship itself is in good shape. And we found is clean. Entertainment was comparable to other ships. It was our first time in a suite and we found the mattress upgrade alone worth the price of admission. FLL is a huge port. Usually 6 or 7 ships at a time so it has become too congested. The embarkation lines are both long and undefined so there is an unfortunate amount of cutting going on. Our experience at Crown Grill was superb and worth the price at least once each cruise. The new club class dining was particularly enjoyable as it is a segregated area away from the mass dining areas with their best servers carrying the load. The shore excursions to the beaches leaves much to be desired. At St Thomas they do not even bring you back to the boat. They demand that you be dropped off downtown and then hike to a ferry. The ferry makes multiple stops getting back to the ship so getting home took an hour and half.

Cabin Review

Premium Suite with Balcony

Cabin S5

Loved the expanded bathroom; loved the extra comfortable mattresses and loved the laundry service. Disappointed in the balcony size.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Admittedly it is a new port but there simply is nothing to see here....
