This was our first cruise ever and we were very happy. Although the ship is older, it is still very pretty and clean and in great working order. The staff, no matter where you went, was always very friendly and eager to keep you pleased. The food was very good with lots of options. The entertainment was all that we expected and more. We chose this cruise because of the cruise line, the cost, and the ports of call. There was a range of ages on the ship which was very good to see. We would definitely cruise with Royal Caribbean again, and would encourage the rest of our family to join us as well. The cruise director, Dan Dan, was a natural entertainer. He was funny and witty, and had lots of energy. We loved that our cruise went to Roatan, Belize, Cozumel, and Costa Maya. We will cruise Royal Caribbean again someday.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

We were expecting a smaller room. For a ship, our room was very spacious with lots of closet and drawer space. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We slept the best ever, even on the first night.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Walked through town and wanted to find great homemade Mexican food, especially guacamole. We stumbled onto a hole in the wall, BEST AUTHENTIC FOOD EVER, Manchitos, near the center of town on a side street. The food was made right in front of us: Guac and chips, salsa and chips, two tacos, two beers, homemade lemonade, bottled water, all for $13. We sat outside and enjoyed our food and experience. The chef and waitress were very friendly and you could tell how proud the chef was and took pride in his business and pleasing his customers.

Costa Maya

Took a cab, $3 per person to a restaurant right on the beach, The Crazy Lobster. Once there, we were greeted by a young man who found us two lounge chairs on the beach and arranged our waiter. When we were ready for our lunch, we flagged Antonio, our waiter, and sat at a shaded table shaded by a palm tree. We enjoyed our food and beverage on the beach and at the table and enjoyed conversation with other visitors to the island. I don't know how we missed this, but at the port is a large pool and poolbar alongside the shops. You could have easily spent the afternoon in the pool and enjoying the swim up restaurant pool bar, or shopped. Costa Maya was leveled by a hurricane in 2007. This Port of Call is brand new and they are doing everything they can to lure the tourists and give them the best experience possible right off the ship. You could swim with the dolphins as well. They had a native band and musicians to greet you as you entered this port as well.

Tampa

We boarded the ship at this port, in the city of Tampa. Everything went very smoothly.
