My husband, two daughters and I wanted a quick weekend getaway so we decided to cruise on the Majesty of the Seas. Port Canaveral is close to home and the price was right. We have sailed with Royal Caribbean before but also Norwegian and Disney. The entire staff on this ship is extremely happy, friendly and helpful but the ship is old and way past it's prime.

We arrived at port around 12:30 pm. Boarding the ship was quick and painless. Once onboard we headed up for the buffet. The food was plentiful, but much of it tasteless. The staff was happy, friendly and quick to help.

Our stateroom was ready at 1:00. We chose two smaller interior staterooms instead of one larger cabin. While they are small, there is enough space for 2 people. No complaints on the size, since it is what we expected. However, the a/c in our room never turned off and every night we froze. While we probably should have notified maintenance, we just never found the time. Our stateroom attendant was friendly and always ready to help.

Cabin N

small but we only slept there. I don't think I could stay longer than 3 nights in this cabin.
