My wife and I chose this trip as a get away for the two of us. It fit our schedule and we had been on one carnival cruise before (Triumph after refurbishment) which we loved.

1. We made on to the ship easy (faster to the fun) we had a deluxe ocean view room (9201). It was rainy the day we got on and our windows were leaking and had left a puddle inside the room. Called down and was told it would be taken care of before the boat left Galveston. By the time we got off the boat to go home they were still leaking and we cleaned up the puddles as needed. Not to mention finding trash from what I guess was the previous tenets left in the closets and drawers.

2. The food was not up to par with what we had experienced before. We did enjoy our steakhouse visit. But in the dining rooms our food was warmish to cold most nights and my wife's meal (steak both times) came out wrong twice and our server told her to just eat what was there instead of waiting on the right meal.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Been here twice did the beach stuff one and shopping on the other. Wife and I enjoyed both we would come back here again.

Progreso

Been here twice did the Mayan ruins on the first trip and enjoyed it. Other than that not much for us there.

Galveston

Got on and got off the boat. We have been priority and faster to the fun so each time it has been fast and easy.
