Sail Date: Mar 2017

I chose this sailing because the price was right for two longtime friends to spend a few days away from life's daily callings. I booked directly with NCL for March 20 sailing and return on March 24, 2017. What the booking representative neglected to tell me was that the ship would be full of college/grad students on what was billed as a College Party Cruise trip. I booked about 25 days before the sailing so I would assume that they knew about the college group. The price included free open bar, something which the students enjoyed. The lines at the bars were long, but most adults were allowed to bypass the line and get their drinks sooner than the students which makes the bar service acceptable. The cabin was spacious and the room steward was very nice! The food in the dining room was sub-par and the service was as well. Dinner on the second day pf the cruise took 1 1/2 hours to get our food and once received it was less than desirable. The buffet was better but the selections were limited. The deserts were tasteless and dry - leaving a lot to be desired. Freeport was less than desirable with Nassau being much better with better choices. We did not make NCL private island due to bad weather.

All in all I was very disappointed with the trip and NCL Sky.
