This was our third cruise so we've had our feet wet but haven't seen it all, although that's the plan! The ship was in good condition as it is fairly new. Food was hit and miss. Some things amazing, some things cafeteria style. That is to be expected on a cruise and AI though. Get your deck chair on lido by 8AM at the latest or you can forget it. The serenity deck was nice and had more seating that was available. Only complaint is that it is forward on the top decks so very windy and chilly when closer to Galveston. The hot tubs were all semi warm which was disappointing. The spa was great and the couples massage was great. We ALWAYS love Guy's and Blue Iguana Cantina. The ropes course seemed very fun online however its a mere 10 feet off the ground and lack luster. We didn't try it. The piano bar and comedy club is always our favorite evening entertainment. Be warned that you can not arrive early to the comedy club. They will make you exit before the next show and get in a line that starts by the piano bar. The 2country group was very old country from lets say 60's and that general era and we were very disappointed. We love when they have Texas or Red dirt country coming from the Galveston port. The Sea Side BBQ wasn't that great. I don't think the filet is worth the extra money in the dining room. While very tender it lacked flavor. Overall, we had a great time and the ship is nice with a lot of the new amenities.
Always quick embarkation from Galveston
Missed due to high waves. Extrememly dissapointing. Apparently this happens very frequently. So take this into consideration.
