The music on this cruise was FABULOUS! Our onboard experience was the BEST!
We had our Vows renewed and the ceremony was officiated by Barry Williams (Greg Brady from the Brady Bunch).
The food was good but not spectacular. We had dinner one night in the Tuscan grill and I was a little disappointed in the menu. The fresh pasta was delicious but I was hoping they would have offered sautéed mushrooms to go with the steaks and a more diverse sample of vegetable side dishes. The service was SUPERB however. A really great female waiter from South Africa (so sorry-I forgot her name!). I am not sure I would spend the money ($90 -$45 pp) to eat there again. I was actually our 35th Wedding Anniversary wo we wanted to do something special.
The cabin was clean. The storage is a bit odd. The vanity cabiet is a weird shape, not much fits in th side doors. Our steward did a good job daily but seemed to forget things from time to time. Ice for example. The cabin waas big enough for two people. I requested teh shdower curtain be replaced-it needed a good washing. Our steward was back within a few mintues to chagne it.Very quick response time We didn't ahe any hand towels upon our arrival but a simpel request was greeted with "my pleasure" and the towels were quickly supplied.
We did not book an excursion with the Cruise line. I booked "Mr. Snachos Beach Club" online. it was $109+ for two of us. All-inclusive-all food/drinks inlcuded. EXCEPTIONAL servie from Tomas. Very friendly and dedicated to the guest experience. Foo was great! Order the coconut shrimp! The liquor is mostly local and not top shelf. Smirnoff Vodka was the best they had. The margaritas were good!
Great town! Wandered around and did a pub crawl!
