Every March, we go on a cruise. We travel as a couple generally and often meet up with friends. This year we once again chose Celebrity and were not disappointed. The service on the ship is outstanding. Every staff member (bar one) made us feel welcome. From the housekeeping staff to the captain, the friendly greetings, were everywhere.

We arrived at the pier in Miami around 11:30 a.m., and were very quickly checked in. Our luggage was taken, went through security, got our passes and before 12 we were on the back deck enjoying lunch. My husband and I traveled with our daughter and 4 year old granddaughter. We were in a suite, and they were in Aqua class (their cabin was right above ours). While we were entitled to extra perks (dining in Luminae, using Michael's club for socializing and drinks, etc.), they were not, so we chose to eat in the Main Dining room each night and were not disappointed. We found a waiter and table we liked, and booked it for all but one night (when we went to the Lawn Club grill). The food was lovely and I was especially appreciative of how the children's dinner menu had choices our granddaughter loved.

We enjoyed each of the ports and went on tours in 2 of them. In Cozumel, we ventured out on the glass bottom boat to view the coral reef and the little one really liked how the fish were swimming right by her window! In Georgetown, Grand Cayman the visit to the turtle farm and then by boat to the sandbar to swim with the stingrays was a big hit. We just shopped in Jamaica and had great luck getting souvenirs. On Labadee, we were able to rent a cabana on Barefoot Beach which worked out wonderfully with the little one. She swam, hunted for seashells, and dug in the sand, all in a cordoned off area and close to the cabana. She was so tired that she promptly fell asleep when we returned to the ship, waking the next morning.

Cabin Review

Celebrity Suite

Cabin CS

Our cabin - Celebrity Suite #1233 - was amazing, The balcony is extra large because it's on the hump, giving lots of room for family gatherings. While the separate bedroom is small, it suits the purpose. The seating area is spacious and a great place to gather - one evening we had friends over, and the 12 of us didn't feel crowded in there. Our butler was so helpful - bringing us breakfast every day, making reservations, and looking after every request.
