I booked this cruise with my husband and 13yr & 10yr old daughters. I knew the crowd for the length and ports would be mostly an older crowd. Let me tell you, they are so much fun! We have sailed in the past on Carnival, Princess & RC. Norwegian trumps all of them. The food was fabulous. We had the specialty dining (not the kids) and it was as good as any upscale restaurant. We tried them all but The Bistro. Top Notch. The cabins were slightly smaller than other cruise lines but overall our balcony cabin was fine for 4. We did have to bend down to miss the top bunk to get onto the balcony, but oh well, no biggie.

Drinks on NCL are higher than on other cruises in my experience, but I enjoyed the soft sales tactics around the ship. Carnival especially, is very pushy in this area. Music on pool deck wasn't too loud, so one could still have a conversation.

Purchased Thermal Suite passes. Eh. Not sure it was worth 200pp, but we did use them. It had the only really hot jacuzzi, which was nice, but the jets didn't work consistently. It's nice up there, and the heated tile lounge chairs are amazing.
