The service from all Celebrity staff is exemplary. Our stateroom attendant was attentive, gracious, quick to respond about any requests and generally a pleasure to have looking after us. The dining staff were also excellent. We enjoyed ourselves every evening and they were very good at making recommendations regarding the meal choices and wine selection. Overall, the ship is clean and well maintained with a large agenda of activities to keep everyone busy if they choose to participate. This is what I believe is the difference between a GREAT cruise and one that is only "alright". We make sure to avail ourselves of everything there is and be open to pushing the limit of our experiences especially when it comes to the shore excursions. We always try to choose ones that will give us an opportunity to see some of the destination along with creating memories by doing something which we have never had an opportunity to try; snorkelling, scuba diving, riding an ATV, zip-lining, climbing a volcano. All of this at ages 62 and 64! Also, rather than spending the night at the bar we support entertainment in the theatre and live music all around the ship. Fewer cruises are offering this wonderful option and we need to let them know it is appreciated. There are so many choices of activities, seminars, games, etc. that there is no excuse for boredom. You have the power to make it one of your best vacations ever!
This cabin is in the Aft of the ship and was very handy for access to the Cafe and Pool areas. Not suitable for anyone with issues walking but we were happy for the little bit of exercise. It is a quiet location with no problems of noise from above or below but the sun is only on the balcony early or late (depending on the sailing direction) which some people may prefer but I like to have it all day.
