I scheduled this cruise thinking there would be some fun times for the kiddos and for us adults during the time at sea that didn't include drinking, clubbing or gambling. Boy, was I WRONG! The after dinner show started while we were still eating, the small pool(s) are unheated saltwater, and there is a looooong line for soft serve ice cream being given out by an employee. There is a general feeling of uncleanliness and just feeling old. The exterior windows were too dirty for taking pictures through them. The bathroom flooded during the shower on days 2-3. There is absolutely no place to put your belongings except in your suitcase under the bed, so don't bring too much. There are two tiny glass shelves in the bathroom and a sad hairdryer in the desk area that didn't get hot enough to dry my hair. Our excursion to Nassau was cancelled due to lack of interest so I had to scramble last minute to get another one (Tip: avoid the 3 hr tour through town unless you want to see the unfortunate residents of the slum who live in squalor). On a good note-- CocoCay is very nice, though everything costs extra (except lunch). The cruise employees were very nice, professional and helpful when asked. Too bad they don't have much to work with. Note to self: Never take Royal Caribbean AFTER Disney Cruise Line. My girls don't want to stay in the Children's Room. If your kids don't either then expect there are no organized activities for them. I'm not sure what this website is referring to when they write there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied for three days, because unless you like eating, getting drunk, gambling, or watching a seminar about Arthritis, there is nothing to do.
Meh- small, but I knew that going in.
I bought a holder for the room card to wear around my neck as suggested and it broke within 4 hours. Bring your own from home.
