We spent 2 days prior to the cruise and did quite a bit of sightseeing in the Barcelona area. A real eye opener .This was my first NCL cruise .As my other family members were gold members, we embarked very fast. Dining in Windows at # 86 table with Santiago was a great experience of professional abilities. All the entertainment and activities were more superior than other cruises I have been on. The experience around the pool was very good with enough lounges and fast bar service. The service on board was very courteous and helpful. The excursions we picked out gave us a good flavour of the ports and the islands, just what we wanted. We disembarked early to catch our flights home, we just breezed through security. This will not be my last NCL cruise, already looking at the brochures.! The choices will be difficult as there is so much to offer in Europe.
