WE heard so much about Viking, that it was time to see if the ship is as good as they say. Let me tell you it was the BEST ship we have been on. We got 6 days to go everything about the ship when we were crossing the Atlantic Ocean. We booked 2 more cruises with Viking while on board the Viking Star. The food was better than we hoped. The variety was excellent. The staff was always smiling and ready to help with anything. For a smaller ship it moved thru the Atlantic Ocean with very little wave motion. The afternoon tea in the Winter Garden area of the ship is to die for. This is first ship that we ate in the buffet, there was no pushing or shoving to get to the food. With only 700 people on board the Viking Star, we got to meet so may very nice and interesting people. The open dining time was the best time to meet new people for lunch and for dinner. When the 14 days were up not very many people wanted to leave the ship.
