This was our 6th cruise, there were 9 of us. I gave it 4 stars because we did have a very good vacation. There were some issues but hey, we are from Maine and it's a heck of a lot warmer in the Caribbean in March than here at home. We started our cruise knowing that we were the first out of dry dock and we're going to receive a $200 room credit for the unfinished water works and on going construction. Truthfully having the slides out of commission was no big deal to us, we do not have any young kids with us. Our issues were small, first was 3 couples had lido deck balcony rooms. We had to wait for hot water a very long time. Normally not a huge problem but in our case the showers were draining very slow. So by leaving water running to get hot water by the time it got there the shower was overflowing. Not a huge deal but an annoyance . Our 2nd issue was with our room steward he was friendly but just never really connected with him like we have with past stews. He never once called us by names. They have always tried to at least learn your name by end of week. But not this time. Again small potatoes. 3rd issue, our MDR staff was very friendly and yes learned our names after 1 night. But they were having problems with the kitchen. Food was coming upstairs in wrong order which made the dining room staff work a lot harder, they never complained but you could see they were annoyed. Like I said these are small issues, we did not complain to anyone and we did still leave extra tip for room stew and MDR staff. Our cruise was very relaxing but when we travel we do not expect things to be perfect. I would highly recommend anyone to cruise on Glory . This was our 2nd cruise on her and I am sure not our last.
