We chose this cruise due to it's location to Canada; 6.5hr drive from our home to NYC.

We want a large ship and had sailed with RCCL in 2009 and loved the experience.

The Anthem of the Seas is by far the best ship I've sailed on.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Arrived in NYC on Friday and after checkin to the hotel, we walked to Time Square for the evening. On the Saturday we walked down 5th Ave, toured Grand Central Station and took the subway to the Brooklyn Bridge stop. Walked up the Brooklyn Bridge to the first pillar and the view was outstanding. Continued to walk back towards the new Trade Center building and monuments. Returned to the Grand Central Station and had dinner at the Oyster Bar Restaurant (excellent food - Tuna steak to die for). Got up on the Sunday and made our way to Port Cape Liberty.

Nassau

Docked early as our stop in Coco Cay had been cancelled due to weather. Docked in Nassau from 1pm to 5pm the next day.

a little disappointed in the town adjacent to the cruise port; shops are good, but looks like the economy has impacted Nassau, many shops were closed/out of business.

Took a taxi to the beach and spent the day enjoying the sun and surf.
