Lovely ports of call made us choose this itinerary and adult medium ship. Dining was excellent, lectures varied and interesting, the evening entertainment was on the whole very good but the Headliners on ship singers and dancers were absolutely excellent. All very talented and ranked as good as any west end show.
The cabin was the problem A86 mid aft four down from midships on port side. See cabin review and beware! Not worth the money.
Excursions were varied and we took advantage of many in countries as Australia, New Zealand, Papa New Guinea, Japan, South Korea and China all well organised on time and educational.
Just come off a two sector cruise of the around the world trip of 47 nights. The cabin although comfortable and well kept suffered very badly from extreme noise from the restaurant belvedere plate and dish cleaning room immediately above this particular cabin. Large bangs, drawer noise and trolley trundles started from 6am onwards and lasted to beyond 11pm every day. It seriously infringed on our sleep pattern, even with ear plugs it was noisy. Complaints were made to staff, reception and in person late at night to the workers in this area who did not give any regard whatsoever for the cabin below them. BEWArRE this cabin is only good for those hard of hearing or deaf. It is not worth the money charged for this category and I would never ever book the cabin of A86 again. Complaints to reception failed to deter the level of noise emitted. It spoiled our cruise we would have been better off paying less money for cabins A90 onwards.
