I normally travel by another cruise line but I thought this year, I would try something different. BIG MISTAKE.

Unless all you want is to mix with an elderly clientele, with absolutely no atmosphere on board, lackluster shows, average food, passageways that lead nowhere, average service, poor communication, a captain's noon message that is factual but without enthusiasm in the voice, then this cruise ship is not for you.

The ship is very impersonal, the staff, with few exceptions, are surly and are rarely seen to smile. Most I experienced were too officious, especially those around the Horizon Court buffet. Having been billed for trying to make several overseas phone call from my cabin (note I said trying to make, did not get through, not even a ringing tone) it took many attempts to have 3 charges of $9.90 each to be removed form my on board account. It was finally rectified.
