Celebrity Constellation Cruise Review by valeriehuggins
- Sail Date: February 2017
- Destination: Asia
- Cabin Type: Ocean View 4
Although Constellation is smaller than most ships we have been on we like it and we thought our cabin was first class, it was a good size and very light with lots of storage space. Would have preferred a shower screen to curtain but bathroom was ok.
The entertainment was very good, more speakers on the ports visited would have been nice.
Some of the ports were a 2 to 3 hours journey from the city, the shore excursions were very expensive and there was no information available for independent travellers. The drink prices were exorbitant and drink packages could not be bought for one occupant of a cabin so a non drinker would have pay for something they could not use fully.
The food was generally good but portions on mains were sometimes miniscule and the deserts were very limited in variety.
The staff were all polite and friendly and helpful. The embarkation and disembarkation were well organised and the drink on arrival was a nice touch..
We enjoyed the cruise and would holiday on Constellation again if it was going to an area we wanted to visit.
