We never received a "no" answer from any crew member for any of our requests. Not even a "maybe". Only a "yes". We chose this cruise because the price was right and I was curious about Viking. Liked Manfredi's the best for food. Some of the dining room food was not as good. I think the chef is trying to be too creative. Cooking class was great. Yoga instructor was better than on other cruises. Entertainers were excellent and I greatly appreciate the enrichment lectures and port talks. Ship is beautiful and I like the fact that the public rooms are calm and peaceful. There is nothing garish about the ship, which is good. Included shore excursions were average but got the job done. The Explorers Lounge upstairs was a great place to read a book. The bar attendant at the Atrium bar made wonderful smiley faces in my cappuccino. Dining room staff remembered that my cabin mate likes red wine vinegar with her salad instead of balsamic and they tracked it down and saved it for her every time. But the internet was barely functional for half the cruise. Very frustrating. Captain has a career after retirement - stand up comedian.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse veranda

Very comfortable. The balcony was smaller than I am accustomed to on other ships. The tv remote control was very temperamental. The cabin staff was outstanding.
