We chose the cruise for the itinerary and we were not disappointed. Having read a lot of mixed reviews about the ship we were not expecting too much but we were pleasantly surprised.

We booked when it was buy one get one half-price (the single price went up when the offer started - but not by too much) and free all inclusive. We would probably have paid for the top non-alcoholic package without this but It was nice never to have to worry about paying for any drink (up to certain prices). Most bars sold beer in 330 ml bottles at $6 = 18% service. This works out at more than £10 a pint and I would not pay this. However, if you paid $55 a day for the package you would be pushed to get your money back. The speciality coffees and cakes are good in Cafe el Bacio..

It was good to be able to get plenty of bottles of free water both on board and to take ashore.
