This was my 4th cruise on the Celebrity line and my first time on the Eclipse. The Eclipse is like the other Solstice class ships. Layout is very similar so it took no time to figure out where everything was located. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere you went. Our room attendant was great and always making sure we had what we needed. We had select dining and lucked out getting a great waiter, assistant and sommelier, our first night in the dining room. We continued to request the same table and no problems getting seated in the same area. I also forgot the handle to my razor and went looking for a new razor to buy. When I did not find one in the shops, I decided to ask at guest services. They asked me to hold on and came back with a handful of disposable razors. I was willing to pay for them, but they insisted I take them at no charge.

One of our favorite things to do on the ship was watch the Hot Glass Show. The guys that do the glass blowing are very entertaining and make the show fun to watch. They truly have some talent to make 3 pieces (1 per person) in the 2 hour time allotment.

We do not pay for the alternative restaurants that are on the ship and choose to only eat in the dining room, buffet and pool bar. The food at all the locations I mentioned is fantastic and throughout all 14 days there was always something new to try in the buffet or dining room.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1B

Cabin 1B

Its a cruise ship cabin! Not much else to say.. It was very clean, and plenty of room for the 2 of us. The balcony was nice and more than enough space to eat breakfast and take a nap.
