We chose this cruise, because we had never been to most of the ports of call. The West Indies itinerary was so interesting and really beautiful! Every shore excursion was thoughtfully planned and a lot of fun; plus, there were so many to choose from!

I can't say enough good things about the great service during our entire trip!! One example is one excursion that wasn't quite as excellent as the others we'd done. It was a hot day, and the van had some mechanical issues, which extended the trip longer than expected. As soon as we stepped out of the vehicle at the end of the trip, we were met by the Viking coordinator asking how we were doing; we were immediately given cold cloths and bottled water. As we walked towards embarkation, numerous Viking crew members came out to greet us with singing and clapping. I felt like a celebrity! Before that even started, a Viking server brought us all chilled Champagne in beautiful glasses! Although the trip wasn't bad, just average, it seems average is not acceptable to Viking. Hooray! They immediately brightened our mood and refreshed us before we even stepped back on the ship!!

The ship itself is immaculately clean and sparkling. There is beautiful art work everywhere. There are numerous areas to relax or socialize, depending on your mood. Read more
