We chose this cruise because the time was right. I've taken one other Royal Caribbean cruise and it was great! The website claimed that the boat had been renovated in 2016, and I would say, "No way!" The state rooms were dusty and didn't have updated furnishings. The bathrooms had stains and scratches in the toilet and shower. The carpet looked dirty and the air conditioner didn't work very well. On top of being old, our room was not clean, black fuzzy stuff on the duvet cover, hairs (not ours) in the bathroom, etc. Our room was supposed to have a safe in the closet and no safe. Our state room attendant wasn't very nice and questioned us every time we asked him to do something. "Please move the beds together." His response was, "Why? You have more room like this." Our friends that were with us asked him to put clean sheets on their bed, and his response was, "Why? Are those not clean?" When I ask the person tending to my room to do something that is reasonable, I expect him/her to do what I asked without question. The plumbing all over the ship was bad. The toilets wouldn't pull waste down or they were easily clogged. There were many parts of the ship that smelled like a waste management plant. The outside rails were rusty or nasty painted over and none of the windows were clean. The bartenders and the wait staff were very good. Guest services were helpful. No, I would not choose to go on another cruise on this ship.
