We chose this cruise on the advice of our travel agent, after we decided to go to Hawaii for my 60th birthday, and after Pearl Harbor and not being avid surfers we had no idea what was on offer! We were brilliantly surprised....... the ship is very luxuriously appointed, the itinerary was spot on with the cruising taking place mostly at night and waking at a new port most days. The staff were very friendly, the service was very attentive and the attention to detail couldn't be faulted, it was a fantastic way to see the other islands and anyone who just goes to Oahu, and thinks that Waikiki is the bees knees, you miss out on the best of the islands. The excursions were many and varied and catered for all ages. Embarkation was very busy but controlled and we had a hiccup with one bag going somewhere else ! The cabin was clean and cleverly designed, entertainment was OK, not much in the way of movies, and anyone under the age of 40 would struggle for entertainment, and if I have to give one negative it would be the cost of alcohol on board, which was to my view vastly overpriced especially as there are stringent rules disallowing any liquids brought on board. That said, we had a fantastic time, thank you to the staff.
