Embarkation and disembarkation were quick and efficient. Enjoyed being on a smaller ship. Never felt crowded. Excursions were managed well. The tender operation was efficient and safe. Food at all locations was excellent. We really enjoyed the specialty restaurants - Chefs' Table and Manfredi's. The decor all around the ship was simple and elegant. There are many quiet spaces all around the ship. We enjoyed the enrichment lectures - one series was about Princess Diana and another lecture was about the geology of the Mediterranean. The promenade deck with a walking path around the ship was pleasant and had few obstructions. Did not get to sample the pool and spa services as our itinerary was so busy. We enjoyed the music venues particularly the guitar player Valentino. With only one minor exception the entire crew was very friendly and helpful. I thought they did a great job considering that the ship only recently starting cruising with passengers. Excellent job hiring and training all the employees. We loved our comfortable cabin. Our Croatian excursions were our favorites - Vineyards and Vistas, Dalmatian Coastline and Village Heritage.Viking continues to provide excellent service, travel experiences and value. We have done 6 river cruises and this was our first Viking ocean cruise. We signed up for our next ocean cruise while on this cruise.
