Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. The ship was beautiful in every way, the Winter Garden was so relaxing and beautiful, a great place for a cocktail and snacks before dinner. Our cabin was a good size and the bathroom was unbelievably big for a cruise ship. Every meal was delicious, and we enjoyed the fact that the menu reflected the country we had visited that day. The service was wonderful from room stewards to waiters in dining room, everyone was so friendly and wanting to please.

The shore excursions were excellent, though the driving tour of Rome left me wanting to actually enter the sites rather than just see them from the bus. When weather kept us from entering one of our ports the crew quickly came up with an alternate that was one of our favorite shore excursions. Entertainment each night was very enjoyable and the lectures about the countries was very informative. All in all, it was wonderful and I would (and have been) recommending Viking for anyone traveling.
