First heard about this when Viking announced their introduction into a fleet of ocean ships.

In spite of the fact that this ship had been sailing for just a few weeks, everything was "ship shape". Crew well trained, helpful, and friendly. The Star was absolutely stunning. Well appointed with top quality everywhere. I an a finicky eater, and can't ay I ever had a bad meal.

Loved the itinerary and the excursions --- EXCEPT --- Berlin. Three hour bus ride in, short city tour, brief time to look around on our own, and then --- due to holiday weekend and accident ---, 4 1/2 hour ride back to the Star. Read more
