Sail Date: Jul 2016

This was our first cruise, and we had an opportunity to explore a bit of Scandinavia, the Baltic and Russia. It whetted our appetites other Viking cruises and another visit to our Viking Star destinations. Superior land and sea experiences.

The crew were outstanding and very attentive to guests. The Viking guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. The ship was exactly the right size.

For those who want 1) a cruise experience with 2 or 3 thousand other passengers, 2) with lots of gambling, 3) with lots of children and Spring-breakers, and 4) with on board circuses and water parks, this is NOT the cruise line or ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

Very nicely appointed. All furnishings and amenities were excellent. We were in a mid-level class, but did not feel cramped or crowded.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Great Shopping. Forget trying to visit Tivoli Gardens.

Bergen

Good food and shopping choices

Stavanger

Excellent walkabout the Old Town.

Berlin

On our own walking tour. Try not to eat at the tourist trap beer halls. Tremendous time hogs.

Tallinn

Talinn was one of the best stops on the cruise!

Helsinki

Amazing architecture
