My husband's family was from Finland and we thought this cruise would be a wonderful trip to see the countries bordering on the Baltic.

We had been on a Viking river cruise the previous year and enjoyed it immensely. The ease of traveling to each place and being close to explore on your own was a delight. The service, food and shore excursions were great so we wanted to try out a Viking ocean cruise to see if it was as good.

We were not disappointed, the ship docked close to areas of interest. The cabins were well appointed and the food was delicious. I loved the Scandinavian design and the cosy living areas throughout the ship. The ship is small enough to travel into fiords and easy to disembark. The dining areas are well laid out with intimate seating but with easy access to converse with other diners.
