We loved the design of this ship--the openness, brightness and wealth of places to just go and relax with a book. The enclosed and bright Wintergarden for afternoon tea and the enclosed pool for cool days were a treat that many other ships don't have. The food in the main restaurant was excellent even though we would have preferred better choices of cuisine. Manfredi Italian restaurant was excellent but the Chef's Table restaurant's cuisine was not enjoyable for us. The service was outstanding wherever you were on the ship!! We appreciated the cleanliness of the ship!! We enjoyed our deluxe veranda cabin--enough space and except use of storage space. Our only complaints are the quality of the A/C unit and the very low water pressure in the sink. We loved the uniqueness of all the ports!! It was very easy to manage the size of the ship. Very good crew to passenger ratio. We loved the very positive of all the crew and their willingness to please the passengers. We were very impressed with your system for meeting people at the airport and returning to the airport--it really helps to reduce the stress of traveling to a foreign country. I would definitely recommend the Barcelona extension. The hotel was fine and the location was outstanding!! Our only recommendation is to be able to plan ahead of time for activities in Barcelona with Viking. Having to wait until you get there is a time waster!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin deluxe veranda

The was size was fine not great but we adjusted. The veranda was a nice size. There was excellent use of storage space. The quality of the A/C unit needed upgrading. If you are going to have a unit that shits off when you leave the room, then you need a high quality unit that will cool the room off much faster when you return to your room. The bathroom size was fine. The water pressure in the sink was very low-this impacts health standards. Having a full-length was great and a necessity. The bed was comfortable and a nice size.
