Sail Date: Dec 2016

We chose this cruise because it was for New Year's in the Mediterranean and we wanted something different for New Year's 2017. Traveled without children. (The cruise was from Barcelona Spain, Toulon France, Monte Carlo Monaco, Florence/Pisa Italy, Rome Italy, Valletta Malta, Tunis/La Goulette Tunisia, Valeencia Spain and back to Barcelona, Spain.)

We arrived in Barcelona, Spain and were greeted by Viking personnel and transported to the ship 'Viking Sea' which was docked in the harbor. We booked a Veranda BUT were upgraded to a Penthouse Veranda, absolutely wonderful.

Left the port the second night for Toulon France, when the Turbine went Kaboom. The Captain assured us that the ship was SAFE, and the Engineers are working on the problem. Next morning we woke up and we were in Barcelona,Spain harbor.

Cabin Review

Cabin V2-Veranda

The room was beautiful, very clean, furnished very nicely, absolutely loved the warm floor in the bathroom. Had a bottle of Champagne in the refrigerator. The cabin was lovely.
