Had previously done a Viking River and was impressed with everything about Viking, excursions, logistics, food, staff, and ship are far and above expectations. Onboard entertainment on the Sky was excellent. The Spa on the Sky is amazing,the Snow Gratto was unbelievable. While everything was well above our expectations, I enjoy the smaller river cruises more than the ocean. I like how the river ports are more walk off / walk on which allows for more exploring of destinations. Also enjoy the smaller boat, feels like you really get to know the other travelers on a river cruise. Looking forward to the following upcoming, already booked Viking trips, Romantic Danube Nov. 2017, Chateaux Rivers & Wine Apr. 2018, and Portugal's River of Gold Dec. 2018. It's easy to see why Viking wins so many Cruise Awards each and every year. Viking Cruises are a great value when you consider the included food, excursions, and entertainment. Have several other Viking Destinations on our radar for 2019 and beyond.

Cabin Review
Cabin was very nice, very roomy, also as nice to have a Veranda. Our cabin steward was great, responded to every need or request in a timely manner and kept our room looking great the entire time.
Port Reviews
Toulon
This included excursion was boring, a bus ride around town, no time to explore on your own, and back to the ship. Plus, Toulon seemed to be a typical military town.
Monaco (Monte Carlo)
Monte Carlo is beautiful, and we enjoyed seeing it. Did a hop on hop off bus in Monte Carlo and it was fun.
Corsica (Ajaccio)
Included walking tour was very nice and informative.
Florence (Livorno)
We had just been to Florence & Pisa in September so we chose to do Livorno on our own. Walked through the markets and shopping districts and enjoyed the sites.
