A short review because 1) it's been awhile & 2) We've already taken a second cruise on the Mariner.

Disembarkation: Port Canaveral is a GREAT port. It's easy to navigate the town. The Orlando Airport to the Port area and hotels was a simple drive and there are Wal-Mart, inexpensive gas stations, restaurants, and stores are nearby and easy to access. The pier across from the port itself has great dining and views. It was easy to drop off our luggage, we were early (10:00AM) and only waited in line about 20 or so minutes before they opened the doors, went though a fast security check, got our seapasses and then boarded by 11:00AM.

Our Cabin was 8th deck, center HUMP balcony and was great. We had a great M&M group and met friends for life, Bob and Joan Harvey. The group had pre-sailaway parties, sail away party, night before party, cabin crawl, and a M&M party that was 2nd to none, with gift exchange.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

We really didn't take as much advantage of our Hump balcony cabin as we should have, but it did have a great view, both fore and aft, and was large enough to make the price worthwhile. I noticed no noise from the elevator stairs which were right outside our door. Yes the Closet can be a mite tiny but it was functional.
