We did a Viking river cruise and decided to try the ocean cruise based upon the interesting ports of call. We loved the cruise line and the places we visited. We were upgraded to a penthouse room and Viking is a great value for the money. They include wine at lunch and dinner and stocked our room with wine. The ship was beautiful and the service was good. We found the service at the pool grill was not very good. I think they had some new staff. We loved that all excursions were included. We paid for a few excursions in Tunis and Algeria and they were excellent. In both places we were treated like VIPS and had many police escort our busses and tour with us. We loved every stop. We have cruised with Seaborn before and they include all the wine but this was almost as good at half the cost. The ship is beautiful and never seemed crowded. They even have a snow grotto, steam room sauna and whirlpool free of charge.

Cabin Review

Cabin was very good. We had a balcony and mini-fridge that was stocked daily with wine or alcohol.
