Sail Date: Sep 2016

We arrived 3 days early to explore Stockholm before we boarded the Viking Star. This introduction readied us for the cruise. From start to finish, the trip was wonderful. Friendly greetings and subsequent service rom the crew, terrific food at all the ship's locations, a clean and spacious Deluxe Veranda room, etc. all added to the experience. The destinations along the cruise was exactly what we wanted. We had not visited this part of the world before, and we were more than happy with ports we visited. The food at the World Cafe never let us down. The excursions were all enjoyable, educational, and worthwhile. It's hard to pick which one we enjoyed best. We also added to our experience with the "Bergen Express" to Oslo and added an additional 3 days in that city.

We had taken another Viking cruise to China the year before and -- with two years running -- had planned to try something different the next year. We had such good times, however, that we have booked another Viking cruise in 2017!

Thank you Viking.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

We enjoyed the cabin. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom and its amenities were good. Room always cleaned. We'd do it again.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

The changing of the guards was interesting, and we saw the famous "Little Mermaid."

Bergen

We loved Bergen. The castle, Bryggen Museum, the fish market, etc.
