Loved the fact that we were at sea for 8 days! Viking kept us busy. Weather was great so we sat out by the pool a lot. Guest lecturers were wonderful. My husband and I read three books and spent a lot of time meeting new friends. Service was fantastic. We loved the crew and the officers. This is our 3rd time on the Viking Star--always feels like we're "coming home." We had a Penthouse Jr. Suite on Deck 7. I loved the fact that they took care of our laundry each day for no charge. Clean clothes for 15 days. Can't beat that! Food was absolutely delicious. Our suite included alcohol and mixers and snacks replenished daily; we also had all the beer and wine we wanted for lunches and dinners. We particularly always enjoy the free-of-charge specialty restaurants. Manfredi's, the Italian one, is the best eating venue on the ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Jr. Suite

400 sq. feet was more than enough for us. Huge bathroom with heated towel racks, heated floor, and double large sinks. Very large balcony which was perfect for having our room service breakfast there.
