This cruise was recommended to us by friends. The 11 day Oahu explorer package gave us three days of exploring Oahu before the cruise. Full day tours on a comfortable air conditioned tour bus with a local very knowledgeable guide allowed us to tour much of the island, including Pearl Harbor, and then evenings come back at the Marriott and Waikiki Beach. We enjoyed the Friday night fireworks on the beach.

Our luggage was taken to the ship by NCL; we toured until 3:30 pm and then were dropped off at the pier to embark. Embarkation was timely and efficient. The balcony stateroom was comfortable. The attendant was friendly and attentive. Our meals were mostly at the Aloha Café and Skyline Dining. An abundant variety of delicious food was offered at mealtime and snack time. When we were out for all day tours, NCL provided either a box lunch or a buffet lunch at a restaurant on the tour.

The nightly entertainment was excellent and offered clean fun. We opted to do shore excursions offered by the ship. It afforded us safety and peace of mind as experienced tour guides each with an interesting narrative drove us to exciting destinations on each island. We noticed people with disabilities were welcomed and accommodated. So we were able to tour Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, and Kauai and enjoy learning about the culture while delighting in the beauty of the scenery. Read more
