The key to making this cruise enjoyable is planning. We travelled as a group of four adults, flying with Emirates. We stayed two nights in a Singapore hotel - the Grand Park City Hall. This hotel was in a good position with an MRT station close by. The hotel was being refurbished but this did not affect our stay. We upgraded to executive level which was well worth the money.

Embarkation was straightforward.

We were on deck 9 inside midship Stateroom 9087. Our cabin was fine and the steward pleasant and helpful. Our friends in 9081 asked to be moved because of machinery noise.
