We were invited to join family on this cruise. I did not have high expectations going in as I had heard negative things about Carnival. Also we just had a bad experience on Norwegian last month. That can be seen in another review. Much to my surprise this cruise was GREAT! The ship was so clean and the staff were constantly polishing and picking up after people. Our room was always ready for us and the room steward was always friendly and knew us by name in the hallway. The room was easy to move around, unlike our "other" cruise. Dining was pleasant in the dining room. Especially liked the entertainment the servers provided. We saw two comedy shows and they were excellent! We did not get off in Catalina as we have seen it before. We took our own tour of Ensenada for $15. We felt the charge for water in the room was reasonable compared to last cruise. You could also bring on soda, which we did not know about. Especially liked Guy's hamburgers & fry's. Time it right and there is no lines. Always food somewhere to be had. The entire staff was always smiling and friendly. I cannot find anything bad to say about this cruise. It would be nice if they still had lobster night like the old days, but I understand that is a thing of the past. I would highly recommend this cruise!!
