We chose this ship because we were in Port Canaveral and the port is not as crowded as Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. Getting on and off the ship was quick and efficient. Getting around the ship, though was a different matter. Waiting in lines is necessary for everything even if you have reservations. I give them A for the outstanding entertainment, and the skill and talent of the performers and the shows. I rate them D for the necessary waiting in line and having to make reservations in advance or risk waiting in line in hopes of getting an unclaimed seat at the last minute. All this contributes to the nasty behaviors that can sometimes afflict humans when the are overcrowded, Our balcony cabin was clean and adequate for the 2 of us. Since we prefer to eat early. the last dinner assignment did not fit our preferences so we ate at the Windjammer and fought the crowds for a table. We did a back to back cruise, and the complimentary lunch between sailing dates was delicious at Giovannie's. Due to their generous discounts we ate their twice more during our cruise. for a pleasant, relaxing meal with the attention and service from Salah, and Russel that was lacking in other eating areas.

Port Reviews

Nassau

we took an independent local boat to Atlantis and the boat broke down in the middle of the bay. The local captain repaired it with what appeared to be a plastic bottle and a pair of scissors. We did make it to the opposite shore but chose to get right back on the return boat so as not to miss our return to the ship
