We chose the Atlantic crossing to have ample time at sea to relax, and a few nice ports.
I will focus mostly on some things I hope will be helpful for future cruisers.
We agree with most other reviewers that the ship is beautiful, and the crew is exceptional (however, we found fantastic crew on almost any other cruise line/ship).
enough space for 2. No sofa, only 2 chairs. Tiny balcony with regular chairs (no loungers). Bathroom has a great shower. Don't use it at prime time on port days - you'll get cold water!
Toiletries are great, hypoallergenic "Frenya" shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bar soap.
You'll also get q-tips and make-up remover pads.
Pull-out fridge (lower tier cabins pay for the snack/drink contents, for upper tiers it's free)
Had been there before. Explore on foot and eat some mofongo.
Beautiful city surrounded by ocean on 3 sides. We walked it ourselves. Safe and friendly.
No shopping there btw. It's the old town with churches and restaurants/cafes.
We stopped during Tiempo de las Fallas - a local tradition, so it was super busy.
Beautiful market, awesome tapas and cafe.
If you speak Spanish ask a local where to eat - they will give you the best little spots.
We saw family there, so can't relate to tour.
