We had seen an article in the NYT on a Patagonia adventure that included the cruise from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia and booked it as just one part of a total Patagonia experience. This being our first cruise we don't have a basis for comparison, but overall we were very pleased with all aspects of this shipboard adventure.

We have had on our "bucket list" an Alaskan cruise and a cruise up the western shore of Norway but after this cruise full of mountain, fjords, and glaciers I'm not sure we need to see any more.

Each day provided the opportunity to participate in an off-the-ship adventure via the Zodiacs. Groups were split up (voluntarily) based on each person's desire for a moderate or challenging excursion. Each group was assigned a very competent guide. A delightful treat awaited us at the end of many of the hikes before boarding the Zodiacs for the trip back to the ship - hot chocolate spiked (if desired) with scotch. Not something I had ever done at home, but it sure was good out there.

Cabin Review

Cabin AAA

Cabin was very comfortable with a almost full wall window view.
