I chose this cruise for the sea days. There were 10 of them and I loved them. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate so many of our Hawaii plans were cancelled. But, the cruise was amazing, despite the weather. I read a review from a person who was either on this cruise or the previous cruise who mentioned the ship was cold. I certainly did not experience this. I felt the temperature was comfortable despite it being a bit cold outside.

If you get a chance to be on a ship captained by Michele Tuvo, as this one was, you're in for a treat. He is a very friendly and jovial man who loves to visit with the passengers. He participates in many of the events and loves to joke around. Even his announcements are fun. Because of this, his crew is also fun and friendly. This just made the whole experience different from other cruises.

I felt the food was excellent in the dining room. I did not see any need to go to one of the specialty restaurants because the fee has increased and they limit the number of items you can order, unlike the dining rooms. The selection on the menu was great and I got to try many new foods which were delicious.

Port Reviews

Honolulu

Hiked to Diamond Head and then took surf lessons with Faith Surf. Both were great. I recommend the surf lessons. My wife and I stood up on the board on the very first waves.

Maui

Weather wasn't too good and our excursions were cancelled. Went shopping.

Kauai

Rented a car and drove around. Weather wasn't too good.
