This was my 4th cruise. Third with RC. Second on an Oasis class. Look...i will be giving you some things that i don't like, but truth be told we will go on another cruise and will have a good time overall.

I have been on Carnival for one cruise and i feel that their food is far better than RC. I have never had a "hot" meal from RC. Luke warm at best. I know its because of the size of the ship, the amount of people that need to be fed etc...I get it. But there HAS to be a better way. I am a meat lover. Why must RC cover all their meat dishes with gravy?! Prime rib? Chicken? Covered in gravy. Have you ever gone to a restaurant and had a prime rib and had it come out with gravy? So when i order it without gravy, it tastes nothing like traditional prime rib.

On Saturday night i was excited to have the seafood night. Scallops! I love scallops. They were placed in front of my wife across the table from me and i could smell the fishy smell. I tasted one and had to spit it out. They were old. Like last cruise old. Scallops should NOT smell or taste fishy. The fish dinner platter was fried and the cod was tasteless and soggy. The scallops were fried and turned into a breaded consistency. The shrimp was covered in breading and nasty. The turkey was good.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Saw a tequila factory and a beach.

Labadee

Laid on the beach. It was nice but really crowded.

Falmouth

Found a taxi driver and had him give us a two hour tour of his area. Showed us beautiful areas and showed us farmers market and meat pies. Paid $125 for five of us. Highly recommend
