Cabin: Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

After sailing on many cruises, we took our very good friends on their first cruise -- and NCL hit a home run for all four of us. We selected the Norwegian Escape because it has so much to offer both to veteran cruisers and newbies. We ate in 12 different restaurants out of its almost 3 dozen restaurants -- and each one was excellent. We thought the drinks were quality at the bars and in the restaurants. We enjoyed the evening entertainment -- three of the evenings in the Theater. Even though there were strong winds for a few days, we have lots of good stories to tell in spite of the weather -- we will never forget enjoying the hot tub which we did not want to get out of! The mini suite cabins were just right for us -- plenty of room and closet space. The cabin steward was great with a super attitude. We liked the three ports -- St. Thomas, Tortola and Nassau -- even when we had to make adjustments due to weather. All four of us recommend the NCL officers, staff and crew for their warm hospitality.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MC

Perfect for the two of us and our friends-- who enjoyed a similar cabin category on the same deck. Enough closet and storage space. Great balcony views. We are all liked the double sinks in the bathroom and good size shower. Christoper, Cabin Steward, was excellent.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Only because of the windy weather and some rain... are we giving Magen Bay a very good. The water was warm and walking along the beach was enjoyable. We also stopped at some of the look outs.

Tortola

Because of the windy weather, they cancelled all tours to Virgin Gorda and JVD. We were able to take a private boat to Norman Island -- and did some outstanding snorkling. Perfect day at the beach. Great alternate plan!
