We chose this cruise because it was only a 2 hour drive from our house. We were not as excited about the ports of call because we had already been to those destinations, but I knew that Anthem would have a lot of onboard activities for my two 'kids' who are 22 and 19. We took advantage of early booking and reserved North Star, the Puzzle/Escape Room, and iFly. We had a great Cruise Critic Roll Call lead (Jason) who organized a cabin crawl and slot pull. The ship had so many activities that we just didn't have time to take advantage of everything since we also just wanted to relax in the sun! We loved the Solarium especially when leaving Bayonne. It was 30 degrees outside, but we were sitting in the Solarium in our bathing suits and loved the fact that we were very warm while everyone else was freezing outside!

We will definitely cruise with RCI again. We have been on their ships at least 6 times, but we have also cruised with Norwegian, Carnival, and Disney. We like RCI the best, but sometimes due to the itinerary or cost it has made more sense to go with other cruise lines.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D6

We loved our cabin and I thought the space was laid out really well. There was PLENTY of room for my clothes and this is the first time on ANY cruise that I actually felt like there was enough hangers and space for all of my clothing. THANKS!

Port Reviews

Nassau

We didn't take any excursions in Nassau. We just walked around town.
